Corporate Sign Industries Acquires Safequip to Provide a Greater Range in Site Safety Equipment

March 23, 2013

Following their recent decision to offer a comprehensive solution for public access and directional control, Corporate Sign Industries (CSI) has acquired a new business: Safequip.

The recent acquisition of Safequip will aid CSI in providing clients with a complete service that helps identify and implement site safety and traffic control in their workplace.

Safequip is an Australian business specialising in directional control and site safety supplies. Complying with relevant OH&S guidelines Safequip is dedicated to providing the necessary equipment to comply with the obligations of statute law.

“We are excited to expand our business through the acquisition of Safequip,” said Stephen Goodsell, Director of CSI. “There are many laws and guidelines relating to safety in schools and at work… we are happy that we can be here to help our clients make sure that they are 100% compliant!”

CSI emerged in 1985 (previously named Changeable Signs) as a family owned and operated business committed to providing clients with quality signage and great service. The company still relies upon those same values today.

As a 3rd generation family business Corporate Sign Industries has evolved with the ever-changing technological and business landscape. Signage is not only for practical measures it now also serves as an outlet for brand identity and makes businesses stand out in a sea of competition. CSI recognises the importance of brand identity however compliance is still the highest priority.

Since 1985, laws and guidelines regarding workplace safety have changed dramatically. Throughout these changes CSI has ensured that their products and services remain compliant with all Australian regulations.

The acquisition of Safequip aligns perfectly with CSI’s own values regarding safety and compliance. The acquisition will see CSI offering a complete solution for clients to direct automotive and pedestrian traffic around their place of operation and ensure they have up-to-date safety and emergency signage. CSI will now be able to provide an enhanced service regarding traffic control equipment, line marking and directional and safety signage.

Despite the inclusion of Safequip, Corporate Sign Industries will continue to be known by the same designation.

Corporate Sign Industries Unveils New-look Website

February 27, 2013

Corporate Sign Industries (CSI) has launched a newly designed website. The revamped site will provide users with a modern design, which is stylish and user friendly.

CSI, who emerged in 1985 (previously named Changeable Signs) have undergone many changes since they first began. It was a logical step for CSI to give their website a fresher look and new extra features.

One of the new features includes an interactive hotspot image designed exclusively for schools. The image includes an overhead view of a typical school with signage placed around the grounds.

The different types of signage can be clicked on to reveal information about the product’s uses. This has been designed in order to make it simple for different schools to see what signage they could use to improve their site.

This interactive image is currently only available to be used by schools however in the future CSI plan to create more for other industries that may benefit from the interactive tool.

The site redesign will provide users with a wealth of information and resources regarding the services CSI offer. The improved functionality and increased number of images means that identifying the ideal solution will be easier than ever.

The new site is designed to be engaging to clients and visually demonstrate CSI’s vision as a company.
